Week 44 (4 - 10 Nov): Witnessing the Move of God

Warm greetings from the RT2 & 521 family! Our recent gathering was a joyous reunion, as many of us had been traveling and were thrilled to be together again. The evening was enriched with a delightful spread of food—from Indian rojak, kway chap, stewed pork leg bee hoon, to Indonesian grilled milkfish with sambal bajak, making our time of table fellowship even more memorable.

The session was filled with testimonies of how God has been moving powerfully among us. Here are some of the highlights:

Testimonies from Indonesia: Members of our team who had travelled to Indonesia shared about the powerful impact of praying together before their meetings. As they invited the Holy Spirit into each gathering, the atmosphere shifted, and many lives were touched by God’s presence. Some were healed from physical conditions, and many others experienced profound inner healing. Several people received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gift of tongues. Remarkably, one individual spoke in tongues that sounded like Mandarin—a truly awe-inspiring moment!

Miraculous Provision in Singapore: Meanwhile, in Singapore, a team attended a celebration service for migrant workers at Tengah, where food had been prepared for 200 people. However, over 300 people attended! The team prayed for the food to multiply, and, incredibly, it was reported by the local pastor that every single attendee received their own packet of food. Many responded to the altar call, with numerous healings taking place, and over 25 individuals dedicating their lives to Christ. Praise be to God!

A Family from Jakarta: We were also blessed by the visit of a family of three from Jakarta who came to us for the first time. Their testimony is a beautiful reminder of God’s orchestration and grace. Within just a week, we witnessed a series of divine events unfold. From praying with them over the phone while they were still in Jakarta—leading to healing from medical conditions—to meeting them in person here in Singapore. They were deeply touched by the Holy Spirit, leading to a process of inner healing. They dedicated their lives to Christ and received both water baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It was a miraculous work of God’s redeeming and restoring grace.

Following these testimonies, we spent time in Scripture, focusing on Luke 6. We explored several key insights:

• Jesus as Lord of the Sabbath: We discussed how Jesus taught that the Sabbath was made to serve humanity, not for humanity to serve the Sabbath legalistically. In our own lives, this calls us to view things through God’s eyes rather than being confined by norms, traditions, or human-made laws. Doing what is right before God takes precedence over all other considerations.

The Importance of Prayer Before Decisions: In Luke 6, Jesus spends the entire night in prayer before choosing His twelve disciples—a decision that would impact the spread of the Gospel to the whole world. This account reminds us of the importance of seeking God’s guidance before making significant decisions, as prayer leads to wise and discerning choices.

We closed our time together with Spirit-led prayer, praying individually as the Holy Spirit directed us and sharing Scriptures and words He had placed on our hearts.

All glory to God!
